Legitimate mail to group in moderation queue as spam

If you find a number of legitimate messages sent to a group are consistently marked as spam and are sent to the moderation queue, you can adjust the group's spam controls to allow for suspected spam messages to be posted to the group. This action is known as 'whitelisting' a group. Note, you'll need to enable Google Groups for Business before you can whitelist groups.

As an owner of a group or a domain super administrator, you can adjust a group's spam controls by following these steps:

  1. Sign into: http://groups.google.com/a/your_domain.com
  2. Find the group to be whitelisted.
  3. Click on the group name.
  4. Click Group settings.
  5. Click the Spam controls tab.
  6. Select the radio button Post them to the group.
  7. Click Save Changes.
