While Microsoft encourages installing Updates as frequently as they are released, it can be a major pain having to wait for the system to update when you come into work first thing in the morning.
Windows 10 gives users to Defer the more benign "Feature Updates" for several months.
The Upside is less frequent updates, the Downside is that when it Does update, they will take longer.
You should also receive a prompt and warnings Prior to the update, rather than the update just happening on its own at an inconvenient time.
To set the Deferred Updates setting in Windows 10, follow the steps below:
